Blank Slate Press was founded with the mission of discovering, nurturing, publishing and promoting the most exciting authors in the greater Saint Louis region. You can purchase our print and ebooks books directly from us, from online stores like Amazon and Barnes and Noble, and from independent bookstores. While the indies may not have our books on their shelves, they'll be happy to order the book for you. And although we love the reach of the big stores, we adore the personal touch of the indies. Please support your local bookstore!  

The times they are a changing. Especially in publishing. Small presses, author-owned publishing companies, and independent authors (i.e. those who choose to operate as entrepreneurs and professionally publish their own work) are changing the very warp and weft of the publishing industry.
